I am thankful for the meat thermometer.
With this handy device, I no longer have to worry if I've cooked the meat to a high enough temperature to be safe. The Carnivores are thankful for it too because I tended to overcook the meat (according to them) before we got it.
I think I tend to overcook meat as well. What temperature should it be?
ReplyDeleteThere are different temperatures depending on the type of meat. My thermometer does not give a temperature for kangaroo. :)
DeleteYikes, I need to start using mine more. I'm horrible about overcooking meat.
ReplyDeleteI like my meat well done, so I never worried about it. However, the rest of the family thinks my well done is dried out. The thermometer has been a nice compromise for us.
