Food Waste Friday--June 15, 2012

It's time for Food Waste Friday, when the Frugalgirl encourages us to post pictures from the previous week of wasted food from our household. This accountability hopefully will help us to be more careful with our food and maybe save some money.

Here is goes for this week.

We had no waste this week again. I think this was partly because we really needed to go to the grocery store and we didn't cook much. However, no waste is no waste. I will take it when I can get it.

Also, below is a picture of something else that had little food waste this week--the pileated woodpecker that has been visiting our feeder. That bird knows how to eat. She almost rivals squirrels when eating suet.

  3. I love seeing the different sort of birds and wildlife you get there. No woodepeckers, let alone pileated ones, on my birdfeeder!

    1. We had had downy woodpeckers for awhile, but just got this pileated one this summer. We were very excited-finally the woodpecker that Woody Woodpecker was based on.
