Take care, and perhaps it's good news, since a cold will pass in a week or two...whereas the blessed pollen is keeping on changing from one tree or plant to another for those with allergies! Definitely be kind to your body, so you can be well again soon.
My kids loved the Mr. Putter and Tabby (the cat) books when they were little. There was one about Mr. Putter catching a cold. He frequently said, "I'm ode with a code" and my kids liked to tease me with that line whenever I had a cold. Anyway, hope you are feeling better.
Oh no! I hate warm weather colds. I was recently diagnosed with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome and they started me on two different antihistamines, am & pm. After a week, I was to stop one. But darn, my nose started running again! Everything is blooming here! But my rash is gone and the other symptoms are abating so I'll live with it. LOL!
Get well soon

ReplyDeleteI am starting to get better, but I think the symptoms will linger a while longer.

ReplyDeleteThere will be a never ending parade of pollen from now until the first frost! I am taking it easy which is much easier to do now that I'm retired.
DeleteHope you'll be feeling better soon! Take care!
ReplyDeleteThanks. It's just one of those things that will run its course soon enough.
DeleteIt's that time of year when we're not sure if we're sick or not. Hope you feel better soon. Made for a good letter of the day though!
ReplyDeleteIt was a good letter topic especially when I didn't have any idea what to write.

MCAS sounds like allergies on steroids. I hope you can find the minimum amount of medicine to deal with it. It does not sound like any fun.
DeleteOh no! Spring cold. That's terrible.
ReplyDeleteI haven't had a cold in a while, so I guess I was about due.
DeleteHaving a cold anytime is annoying so I hope you'll get well quickly.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day.
I agree!
DeleteSo sorry to hear you've a cold and cough; hope you feel better, soon. Get lots of rest. :)
ReplyDeleteI have been taking it pretty easy. It's good not having to worry about going to work now.
DeleteHope you got well soon enough to enjoy your trip to Maine.
ReplyDeleteWe passed the cold around, unfortunately, but we did have a good time.
DeleteOh dear, I had that one too. So sorry you had to get it too! It sounds like you are taking good care of yourself.
ReplyDeleteThis cold really threw me for a loop, but it mostly gone now.
