I am thankful for a visit from Theodore
(and so are the cats).
Theodore was home from school this weekend and it was a pleasure to see him. He brought his dirty clothes which I encouraged him to do because it is so much cheaper for him to wash them here. And the added bonus was his basket of smelly clothes was a favorite place for the cats to hang out.
Enjoyed the sweet cat picture! Have fun with Theo.
ReplyDeleteTheo has gone back and it always brings on mixed feelings. I'm a sad because I will miss him and happy because he is going out into the world with a purpose that is important to him.
DeleteIsn't it funny how kitties do that?
ReplyDeleteI understand that bittersweet feeling of being happy they are excelling and sad because they are gone more. Glad you had a wonderful time with him.
I think the cats are attracted to the musky smell of dirty clothes because they always seem to gravitate towards them. However, I do have one cat that is happy to attack a stack of clean folded clothes. I guess there is something for all of them.
DeleteNice to have a return to the nest. We will not see ours until Thanksgiving, but the upside is the whole bunch will be together, even if we are traveling across the country to all be together.
ReplyDeleteI get to see my kids fairly often. But being a mother, I will say it's not often enough for me.
