Thankful Sunday--January 20, 2013

Annie is thankful for this sunbeam and so am I.

After many cold and rainy days, the sun is out again--a very welcome sight.

  1. Oh, the life of a cat, to just lie in the sun all afternoon!

I'm hoping we see the sun today. We've been in a fog bank for the past few days, fog from morning to night. It feels like Victorian London around here. (I suppose it's foggy in London now, too. I was just thinking of stories like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Jack the Ripper).

    1. I just saw a BBC show advertised about Jack the Ripper and indeed, it was very foggy and dreary just like we had last week. We have another day of sun today. The air temperature is very cold, but it still feels warm in the sun.

    1. It's supposed to be sunny tomorrow but very cold. I don't think the snow/rain is coming until later in the week. I hope you were able to stay inside today and enjoy the snow from a window.

    1. It is a lovely word. Thanks for reminding to find the beauty in words, both individual ones and in combinations.
