Observations from Everyday Life
Oh, the life of a cat, to just lie in the sun all afternoon!I'm hoping we see the sun today. We've been in a fog bank for the past few days, fog from morning to night. It feels like Victorian London around here. (I suppose it's foggy in London now, too. I was just thinking of stories like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Jack the Ripper).
I just saw a BBC show advertised about Jack the Ripper and indeed, it was very foggy and dreary just like we had last week. We have another day of sun today. The air temperature is very cold, but it still feels warm in the sun.
Enjoy it while it lasts, we had plenty of sun yesterday today it's cold, cloudy and snowing.
It's supposed to be sunny tomorrow but very cold. I don't think the snow/rain is coming until later in the week. I hope you were able to stay inside today and enjoy the snow from a window.
I'm thankful for the word "sunbeam." What a lovely word.
It is a lovely word. Thanks for reminding to find the beauty in words, both individual ones and in combinations.
What do you think?
