Today...

Today, I'm going to be like my cats and adapt to wherever I am.

With all of the upheaval in the house, many of the cat's favorite lounging spots have disappeared. Not to worry, cats can always adapt, and so can I.

  1. I love the box picture - what is it about cats and boxes?

    1. This one, Lucy, also likes to shred/chew them. She will sit in a cardboard box and chew and spit out little pieces of cardboard until we tired of seeing the box in the floor.

  2. I need to apply that lesson today. I'm been flying around here like a maniac, all because I got up late this morning. Also, those are some of my favorite photos that you've posted of the cats. Very smile-inducing. :-)

    1. I hope the day calmed down for you. Sometimes when I'm stressed, I look at one of the cats sleeping or purring and I try to emulate them. They really know how to relax.

  3. Next life, I'm coming back as a cat. Biggest "responsibilities" of each day: stay warm, nap, and catch a spider or two. Yep! I'm coming back as a cat!

    1. Many times I have said that I want to come back as one of our pets. Life is good.

  4. Hee! Love the cuddly cat pictures. It's hard to resist getting them on film. I got a cute snapshot this morning--my kids have a toy Nativity set made of fabric. It ended up by the wall next to the heat register. Well. Soft fabric plus blowing heat = a warm cat curled up in the stable snoozing. Too funny.

I'm with Lili. I wanna be a cat. Plus, cats pretty much do what they wanna do and people say, oh, that's just how cats are. Bonus.

    1. You're absolutely right, cats get away with a lot. Thank goodness, we were a lot stricter with our kids than our cats or hard to tell what we would have ended up with.
