I wish you and your family and loved ones a very happy Christmas, Live and Learn. This first one without your mother must be difficult, but may you rejoice in the memories of Christmases past with her and know that she is there is spirit, with you.
Thank you, Bless. I hope you and your daughter had a good holiday, also. We spent the day with my husband's family and had a good time. I'm not looking forward to tomorrow when my sister and I go to my mother's house for the week to work some more on cleaning it out. It is the house we grew up in and where we spent all of our childhood Christmases and much of our adulthood at Christmas time. But time marches on and things change and so must we.
We just a cut a branch off one of the trees in our yard to make it. Ward made a simple stand out of a 2 x 4 and we try to have a Charlie Brown tree every year. BTW, it you don't have a pine tree around, a friend of mine goes to where they sell Christmas trees and collects the branches they cut off for her own decorating.
We had a good day. First here at our house and then at my father-in-law's where most of Ward's family gathered. I hope you also had a good time with your family and that your mother was able to spend some time with you.

DeleteTHAT IS AWESOME. I had to write it in all caps because i LOVE that little tree photo. Next year, I'm going to have a leaning one ornament little tree.
