Thankful Sunday--June 29, 2014

I am thankful for popcorn.


Salty, crunchy popcorn is the perfect snack. The only thing better is when you eat it with M&M's. I am thankful that I have popcorn and will be even more thankful when I get some M&M's to go with it. (Spoiler Alert: Shopping trip planned for later today.)

  1. Popcorn is the ultimate...lol. We love it for snacking on, I've ground it for cornmeal, and I just read a recipe yesterday in a Lorna Sass whole grains cookbook about using it to coat chicken.

    1. Now that's interesting. I've never heard of grinding it for cornmeal. I'll have to check into that.

      I tend to forget about popcorn as a snack, but I really should make it more often, as I love snacks which are also healthy.

  2. I'm definitely with you on popcorn. It's also one of the healthier snacks too (unless you eat a whole bag of it :)

    1. That's why the smaller 100 calorie bags are great. I will finish the bag or bowl no matter how big it is so that helps me with portion control.
