Today, I am not going to be distracted by OFF-putting things. I am going to find the positive and move ON.
Okay, I admit it. The message is good, but the delivery is a little corny with the off and on references. I saw these switches at the Cabin Fever Expo I went to with Theo and Ward and wanted to buy them. However, I was discouraged by Ward because I have absolutely no use for them. But wouldn't it be fun to have some "On-On" switches?
Nice switches and nice outlook on life :)
ReplyDeleteIt's so easy to get caught up in negative things especially at work. I'm doing pretty well so far today focusing on the positive.
DeleteIt reminds me of when my kids were younger and they'd regularly ask to do something totally outrageous, so naturally I'd say "no". Then they grew older and their requests were not so outrageous, but I had gotten into the habit of saying "no", so would continue on with my "no's". It took a while to stop and really listen to what they were asking, so I could give it fair evaluation.
ReplyDeleteInteresting, they do look like No, No switches also. That's a whole other post.
DeleteSome on-on switches in life would be nice...I think, my kids have some permanently installed in them!
ReplyDeleteKids do seem to be always ON, don't they? Sometimes it's hard to keep up.
