All of the pieces that made up the arrangements were found pieces. Some were from coworkers yards (like mine) and some were found in parking lots. |
The candle holder was cut from a plastic wrap tube. It turns out that it is just the right size for a standard candle. Who knew? (Well, some of you out there probably did.) |
I'm homesick! The holiday parties were always wonderful. I hope the tradition continues.
ReplyDeleteI think these are done just right--nice but informal and fun.
DeleteVery pretty. I also hate huge table arrangements which block your view of everyone. I always end up moving them! This arrangement would solve that problem.
ReplyDeleteI don't think people think it through sometimes. If it's on a buffet table, you can have tall arrangements. However, if people will be sitting down, they need shorter ones. I think all that is thought about is if it's pretty or not.
DeleteVery nice, and natural. I like the look of natural items in Christmas decorations. At a time of year that I don't venture outdoors much, a natural table centerpiece brings the outdoors to the inside.
ReplyDeleteI agree about natural items in Christmas decorations. I think that is one reason why a Christmas tree (real or artificial) is so appealing now.
DeleteThis is lovely I appreciate decorations made with items found in nature. Love the tube for holding the candle, no I didn't realize they were the perfect size.
ReplyDeleteItems found in nature really speak to me also. That's why I was so happy that I won one of the door prizes and got to bring one of these home.
DeleteThey're very pretty and creative. I really like the use of natural items :)
ReplyDeleteShe is very creative. She always wins a lot of ribbons at the community fair for her flower arranging (and vegetables and baking, etc.)
DeleteCute idea! They are quite pretty.
