They were done (according to Theo) when they were soft and lightly browned. The verdict--everyone like them even the not radish lovers. Most of the radish taste was gone with just a tinge of it left. They tasted mild and quite good. We went to an historical village a few years ago and they were preparing period food, which included pickled radish sandwiches.
