We were out driving when we first spotted that moon. I was sitting in the car next to my grandson who is a year old and I wanted to introduce him to looking at things outdoors so I asked him where the ball was. He lit up and pointed to it, then kept trying to reach it. It was huge wasn't it?Loishttp://theecograndma.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6315851262843522940.post-29122401651081835522015-12-03T08:48:06.540-05:002015-12-03T08:48:06.540-05:00Beautiful pics of country living. There's a reason that there are laws against hunting at night--it's just too dangerous. I'm not against hunting. My father was an avid hunter, and that was much of our meat for the year. I'm just against illegal hunting.Live and Learnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13493777474885053903noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6315851262843522940.post-57210819901343479552015-12-03T01:33:48.119-05:002015-12-03T01:33:48.119-05:00Beautiful photos. We were at the lake last winter and heard an explosion right outside our window. We ran outside and could smell gunpowder, then found the shells about 20 feet from our front door. There is no allowable night hunting in Alabama, but someone obviously did not expect us to be at the lake on a weeknight and didn't realize we were not only there but awake. I mean what are laws for when there are 5 deer in the front yard on a regular basis?Anne in the kitchenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01533249631969001657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6315851262843522940.post-39202223391080116792015-12-02T17:45:35.967-05:002015-12-02T17:45:35.967-05:00There is some pasture between us and the woods, so...There is some pasture between us and the woods, so no orange is needed. And behind the pasture is parkland and there's no hunting on it. However, that doesn't mean that it doesn't happen.
