There are plenty there, but we concentrated on just the invasive ones-thistle and mile-a-minute vine. Unfortunately, both of those have stickers on them. Maybe today we'll go after the grass there. Good luck with the weeds. Not enough time in the day as you said.Live and Learnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13493777474885053903noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6315851262843522940.post-22435759986978127282016-06-03T22:42:02.358-04:002016-06-03T22:42:02.358-04:00I think you and I have been having the same weathe...I think you and I have been having the same weather patterns it went from an unusually cold and rainy spring into late summer weather overnight. My weeds have taken over as well. Not enough hours in the day this time of year but your pictures always remind me there is something every season to be thankful for.Lois@Living In Denimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16368939902298894344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6315851262843522940.post-39162122807255663942016-06-02T06:49:55.605-04:002016-06-02T06:49:55.605-04:00Here, August is just plain hot and many of the pla...Here, August is just plain hot and many of the plants turn brown under the heat. The geranium will grow in most places but in the south needs to be in the shade. The tulip poplar tree is native to the US and extends to central Florida. I don't know if it grows where you live or not. I always enjoy the tulip-like blooms it has.Live and Learnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13493777474885053903noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6315851262843522940.post-59913365999472325212016-06-01T19:30:41.184-04:002016-06-01T19:30:41.184-04:00Late spring is definitely a good time of year. I especially like the idea of a tulip poplar! We had a very hot and humid holiday weekend; right now a cold front is coming through so our temps the rest of the week should be in the lower 70s (my kind of weather!). I think the end of May/early June is one of my favorite times of the year. The greens are bright and fresh, and the flowers are out. Love your Tulip Poplar. Krisnoreply@blogger.com
