Thankful Sunday--January 3, 2016

This is mid-view of the yard as the sun is starting to set. I particularly enjoy the silhouettes of the trees in the winter.

I am thankful for the view
out of my kitchen window.

If you've looked around at all on this blog you have seen many views out my kitchen window. Through my window I watch the birds, squirrels, and deer on a daily basis. I see if the cows are in the back field and watch the trees change shape and color throughout the year. I watch the flowers bloom and fade.

In other words, through my kitchen window, I see nature putting on a constant show and for that I am thankful.

  1. How nice that you have so much property to enjoy, whether outside or through your kitchen window.

We finally have a little snow and are expecting more tonight.

    1. We have two acres and I really enjoy it especially since we back up to a farm. However, it is a mixed blessing. There is always a lot of work to do just to keep it from all going to brush. And now that Wally and Theo have moved, it's harder than ever to keep up. Next house will not have this much land, but until then, we're enjoying it.
