Thankful Sunday--January 4, 2015

I am thankful that I found the charger for the iPad.

Ward brought an iPad home from the office to do some work at home. I was straightening up one day and put it away. Then when he needed it, we found the iPad, but not the charger. After some time of fretful looking, I found it under an end table. Whew! Now Ward doesn't have to go to work and say he lost the charger to the company iPad. And for that I am thankful.

    1. I was worried for a while when I couldn't find it because it was company property. I did remember where I put it, but I didn't remember that I had retrieved it. Then a cat knocked it onto the floor. Than part I didn't know. Anyway, all is well now.

  2. Oh, that would be a tough one to explain at work. Good thing you found it!
My daughters are always misplacing their phone chargers. I can't seem to get them to find a designated spot for storing them, sigh.

    1. Designated spot is the key and your daughters will figure it out. I've watched my kids and when it seems like there is no hope of them learning some things, they pleasantly surprise me. They either start doing what I've been trying to teach them for years, or make up their own systems for handling things. But until they do that, it drives me crazy.

  3. I have found that Ipad cords are fantastic escape artists. I charge both the Ipad, Ipod and phone at the same plug every time. THe only things I change are the cords, yet the Ipad/Ipod cord disappears regularly. I finally figured out the dog gets it and puts it in her box of toys. Funny because she never chews it, just moves it. The downside of having a large dog it their ability to reach places other dogs can't. Now I guess I have to start charging in my bedroom, she's not allowed in there.

    1. We charge our phones and cameras in the same place, but since the iPad isn't ours, we don't have a regular place for it. Maybe we should make one since he does bring it home fairly regularly.

I find it interesting that your dog has not chewed the iPad cord. Most dogs I know will delight in chewing anything.
