Thankful Sunday--September 21, 2014

I am thankful for pen and paper.

Out of all of the ways we have to record things today, for me nothing beats a good, old fashioned pen and paper.

  1. Me too! The best way for me to remember something it to physically write it.
I keep composition books around just for my scribbles...lol....and I am old school enough that if I find a recipe online that I like I write it down to add to my notebook.

    1. We have so many half used composition books leftover from my sons' schooling, it's going to be a long time before we go paper free. And I don't know if I ever will. I do use the computer for a lot, but I like a pen and paper for lists and brainstorming especially.

  2. I admit to being old-school, too, when it comes to paper and pen or pencil. I like the way they smell when you go to buy them in the store in the fall when purchasing school supplies. Weird, I know. :)

    1. There's only one thing that smells better than new paper--new crayons. I love that smell and all the potential it implies. Does that make me weird too?

    2. Probably, but who cares? :) I like the smell of libraries and elementary schools. Probably because they have an office-paper odor.

  3. My question... college- or wide ruled? :-)

  4. New crayons and old fashioned school paste ( not the glues or glue stick stuff they have now)!
No it does not make you weird at all unless I am weird also. ( That might be a like possibility though)
Nothing beats writing lists and the physical act of crossing off something that is done! Give me paper and a fine tip pen and I am good to go.

    1. I was just doing a little crossing out myself. We did pretty well with yesterdays list.
