The azaleas in our yard have just started to bloom, so I thought it was time to check in on the Brighton Dam Azalea Garden which has five acres and over 20,000 azaleas to see. Although the garden was in the beginning stages blooming, there were still several varieties providing a beautiful show. Here are a few of the sights.

Answer: The lower left white flowers are dogwood blooms.
I just had a stupid thought. I thought, "gee, where have I heard of Brighton Dam Azalea Garden?" Then I realized it was on your blog, last year!

Yes, azaleas and rhodies do very well in our area, with the acid soil here. There are a few rhododendrons that are about 40 years old in our neighborhood. They look more like trees than shrubs.
DeleteNope, can't pick out the non-azalea. My complex thought process for this is, "oh, pretty!". :)
