A Second Look--February 5, 2014

This is the winter that just keeps on giving. Today it is an ice storm with freezing rain and below are a few pictures from it. They look dark and dreary because it was still raining when I took them.

  1. It IS becoming the endless winter. We, for once, were on the northern fringes of the storm so we got about 3 inches of snow. Another stew-and-homemade-bread day.

Ice storms are beautiful, but losing power is less so. Hope yours stays on. Your second and third pictures are gorgeous.

    1. Except for a few blinks, the power has stayed on at our house. However, we were without power for a couple of hours at work today and many others don't have power. Stew and homemade bread sound wonderful. Wish we had some here.

    1. Since the rain has stopped and there's a little more light, it really is beautiful outside.

    1. I know it's fairly warm where you live, but you never get snow or ice?

  5. Love looking at your photos. We got the snow instead of the ice.

    1. We seem to often be on the snow/ice line. Overall, snow is easier to deal with.
