Today...

Today, I'm going to be like this pancake maker and focus on only one thing at a time and see it through to completion.

This pancake maker was part of the breakfast set up at the hotel we stayed in recently. I was totally fascinated by it and we had a few more pancakes than we really needed just so I could watch it work.

  1. Wow, I had no idea that something like this even existed. Did it flip them?

    1. I'm not sure because you couldn't see it all. You just pushed a button and pancake came off the roller at the end onto you plate. I think it cooked them from both sides.

  3. that's actually kind of fun looking. I can see why you and your husband would want to just watch it a bit longer.

    1. If truth be told, I was a lot more interested in it than he was although he did enjoy the pancakes it produced.

  4. Hahaha - I've encountered the same thing with a waffle contraption. Not your typical waffle iron: pour batter in, close lid, wait for beep to flip iron over, wait for second beep and remove waffle. Its very similar to your pancake contraption.

The breakfast bar lady knows me well by now b/c I'm always fascinated by it. She even lets me offer to make waffles for other hotel guests (part of her job) b/c I love playing with the machine. Embarrassing no? Many waffles later and I still don't understand how it works!

    1. That's funny. I never made pancakes for the other guests, but that's an idea for next time.
