Ponderings of Theodore--The Early Years

How much wood could a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck had an axe?
How many banks could a robber rob, if security was lax?
How many shells could Sally sell, if no one really cared?
How many tongue twisters like these, are slightly impaired?

(One of Theo's ponderings from elementary school.)

But Wait, There's More.
Here are the original tongue twisters mentioned above.

How much wood could a woodchuck chuck?
by Mother Goose
How much wood could a woodchuck chuck
If a woodchuck could chuck wood?
As much wood as a woodchuck could chuck,
If a woodchuck could chuck wood.

She sells seashells by the seashore.

She sells seashells by the seashore.
The shells she sells are surely seashells.
So if she sells shells on the seashore,
I'm sure she sells seashore shells.

    1. Theodore wrote the top version. He has always had a way with words whether it was with a simple idea or a complicated one. However he did not have a way with keeping his room so you could walk through it.

  2. I love it! Theodore was very talented, I hope he's held on to his imagination.

    1. I don't know if you want to call it imagination, creativity, or thinking outside of the box, but Theo has always had an interesting way of thinking about things. It has changed as he has gotten older, but it is still there. I think our basic traits never really change though they may manifest themselves if different way.

  3. That's very creative and cute :) It's so great that you have a record of your kids to look back on.

    1. I never kept a diary or even a baby book, but I do have several interesting things recorded that they said and did. I look back on them and smile.
